Worsham Brothers continues its partnership with The Baddour Center, an extraordinary 120-acre residential community in Senatobia, Mississippi, dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities. This project delivered a full interior and exterior refresh of the Lafayette Home, a residence originally built in the early 1980s, updating the home while supporting its continued use for the residents it serves.
Interior work included removing the existing stippled ceilings and fully replacing millwork, doors, trim, door hardware, plumbing fixtures, lighting, flooring, windows, furniture and built-in cabinetry. New drywall and ceiling finishes were installed alongside touch-ups to existing surfaces, new interior and exterior paint.
Mechanical and life safety upgrades were a key part of the scope. The team installed a new fire suppression system and a new fire alarm system integrated with the suppression system, strengthening life safety for residents and staff. Additionally, Worsham Brothers, and its trade partners, upgraded older mechanical equipment to provide a better climate inside of the living space.
Exterior improvements rounded out the project with new paint and new landscaping and sod. Worsham Brothers provided preconstruction and construction management services on the Lafayette Home, reflecting the thoughtful, intentional planning the Worsham Brothers team brings to every project supporting The Baddour Center’s mission.
